Thanks for the enlightening video. I always thought of Bronski Beat (and more so of Jimmy Somerville) as artists who put the message ahead of the music. Their music will always be timeless and relevant. On a personal note... I consider 'You Are My World" to be one of the greatest loves songs ever recorded. Every single piece of that song is combines to make a perfect song. Jimmy's light will burn for a millennium. Thank you again for your time given to compiling and sharing this video with all of us.

This was great - always wonderful to see stuff about T? Troublegum has never been one of my favourites of theirs, I always revert to the noisier stuff for some reason - the one-two of Crooked Timber and A Brief Crack of Light is my favourite period of theirs, still waiting for them to knock out at least one bonkers album like that again.

I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore from 1999 is SO GOOD. Also their entire Electric album from 2013 is hypnotizing.

You didn't had to be gay to enjoy this song. I lived in a small, mostly catholic, city. My parents weren't married, I had so many interest in things, I cannot learn there and no one to talk to. I know in 1984, that I will move to a bigger city soon, were I can have a fresh start. That's why I loved this song the first moment I heard it.
